Sculptra is not a filler used for focused correction of hollows, such as with hyaluronic acid RHA family, but rather a biostimulant that induces your body to synthesize its own collagen gradually over several months and results in an overall facial contour and skin quality that appears healthier and more youthful.
The results typically last 2-5 years. The procedure usually must be repeated, with a rough guideline of 1 vial of Sculptra per decade of life, to achieve your desired goals. Sculptra in a more dilute form may also be used to induce skin tightening in such problem areas as the chest and the fine wrinkling that naturally occurs with aging of the arms, abdomen and legs. We do everything possible to keep you comfortable during the treatment, such as applying topical or local numbing medicine or providing you with relaxing medication if necessary. You will be provided with aftercare instructions.
